Have you ever created exceptional content but still desired more exposure? That was the goal for client Jackson EMC when it came to their series of Ty Talks featuring home energy expert and television star Ty Pennington.
The seven-episode series features Ty sharing his knowledge concerning a variety of home topics that include home automation, insulation, smart thermostats, solar energy and more. All topics promote energy-efficient features that homeowners could incorporate into their home to save money. Jackson EMC spokesman Ty Pennington says, “Energy efficient living is about doing more while consuming less.” Jackson EMC offers homebuyers the opportunity to get a Home Energy Evaluations and find ways to save on utility bills.
When beginning work with client Jackson EMC, Denim Marketing hit the ground running creating shareable content to promote the Ty Talks videos, therefore increasing overall views. Our content marketing experts created a blog post for each video to share and posted the content on popular news sites such as Atlanta Daybook, Atlanta Real Estate Forum and local Patch sites.
Over the course of the 90 day campaign, the seven blogs will be promoted and steadily increase awareness of home efficiency and the product offering available through Jackson EMC. To further our efforts, we utilized a combination of Facebook ads in partnership with Atlanta Real Estate Forum and 11 Alive to promote viewership of the Ty Talks videos. Facebook ads are an excellent tool for getting information in front of target audiences with its extremely detailed algorithm and options to either drive traffic, increase post engagement or in the case of Ty Talks, video views.
In just our first month, the Ty Talks videos gained more than 100 new total views and the Jackson EMC YouTube channel increased by nearly 10 subscribers. Results should continue to climb as additional blog content is distributed and promoted over the next two months.
